Passing Out Parade & Church

Morning dawns and evening fades, Lord you inspire me songs of praise!

I felt a little goggy from camp last night and this morning was a bigger blow.
Feeling unwell now. Nonetheless, Npcc camp was great!

There was hushbrown for breakfast this morning and I wasn't able to eat as I left off in a rush to church. Well, I guess I'll let the guys have my share if there is.

First day: 13June2008
Dusty Npcc Room was cleaned! My nose was rather tickled by the dust. *sneeze~
First night's bathing was horrible. The automatic toilet lights in the canteen went off when we were bathing! Ohmy! No one to help us. The girls toilet was filled with screaming especially Sooyi. Further details are to be kept confidential. x)

Sleeping was another problem. I can't believe it, Hweehwee and Sooyi can talk on the hp all night and so loudly. Help me! I can't sleep! NOISE~ :p

Second day: 14June2008
POP was FABULOUS! So much fun and commotion!
But! There was a really surprising promotion test on our Teaching and Command & Control.
I did quite bad in it and said a command that does not exist! Oh no! We had to change from uniform to pt back to uniform and pt a couple of times. What in the world? But it also trained our changing time. :)

CONGRADULATIONS!

The secondary threes gave us a baby napkin each. What a cute idea and there were many things they did which were hard to describe. (Only npcc G.O.H. would experience it right? ha-ha.)

We were brought to this room just like tv dramas where a guy brings a girl to a room full of balloons and decorations. So romantic! Got poked and pushed on the way by those naughty sec 3s, sirs and ma'ams. At least I got to experience it if I don't in the future! Lol. :D
We got this really nice cup with our names printed on it and a candle burning brightly in it.

Moreover, the way they brought forth the activities for us were terrific! Felix and Jiahui were the wettest. The secondary 3s were smart, they got us to pass them our specs and blindfold our eyes during one of the activity. We definitely got WET! After that, water bomb attacks were carried out. Without our specs, we can't see a thing!

Wow.. All the food were BBQed for us already! Great!
Following after, some of us, NCOs were gathered in the guys' room. We played murderer, police and victim. I was a quick noisy murderer! It was more challenging as I have to kill as many people as possible only in a song's range without the police catching me! Engchee caught Yuehui as a wild guess. DEH.. Wrong answer, bashing time!
I was quite obvious actually, waiting for the next police to catch me. Unexpected! The innocent police was beside me - Yuewei. She thought she was a victim all the while. HA! She got bashed!

Last round, I got the KING - Murderer again?! I started laughing and all eyes were on me, having the thought that I was the one. I managed to kill quite a number BUT! I killed Sulaiman who's the police. Dooms day here! I'm dead! I got bashed, seeing things flying to me across the SLC. Fun and painful! ).(

We talked a lot at night. They were asking,
"Married to a rich guy = happiness meh?"
I gave a comment like words of wisdom:
"Rich but not happy = NOTHING, Byebye.. I sleep le!"
Shenqi pulled my sleepng bag under me and they were saying like, "Waa.. Say a bit only then want to sleep le. Cannot cannot.."

TODAY:
In church, I learnt from Brother Kong that "It is not what you have but what you do with what you have".
Our mind plays a strong role in this. What we do with our 5 senses is controlled by our mind. And in our mind, our thinking should ALWAYS revolve around God! When we revolve around God, it becomes a lifestyle. It is not what we say that people see God in us, but in fact, what we do.

A song in worship moved me to tears - 祷告 (I pray).
I experience it this morning as I pray to God. I had the slightest thinking of not going to church as I was unwell, but I told myself: "Who else can heal me except the Lord my God?"
He is definitely the Healer of the world! I'm feeling much better now. =)
