Early in the morning(2-3+am), before I went to sleep, I was helping my brother to do the cover page which worth 5marks for his project. See wat a nice sister he has. :D Well, I had the picture I wanted in my mind, but I can't get it down on paper. So I found 2 photos which captured my idea, & started drawing FREE HAND. It's been so long since I ever drawn free hand man. haa``

The bear is taking the attention away from the emphasize of the man and his cigarette.

Also, the bear & the man's head is very detatched. She suggested me to draw the bear grabbing hold of the man's head as if it is undetatchable. =)

Well, anyway it's just a fast & rough work. xD

After little hours of sleep, I had to go to the Dental Clinic for a follow-up.

I didn't expect to do so many things there. I took an x-tray for one of my teeth to check whether my filling affects my nerve. I had to bite real hard on this thing which hurts the skin beneath my tongue.

The dentist told me about the reason why my teeth is sensitive & taught me how to take precaution before it turns to a unreversable stage. I had my teeth cleaned! And learned how to brush and floss PROPERLY. I had a 'cut' on my teeth laminated with a layer to protect it from germs.

Throughout the entire adventure in the clinic, I had many machines stuffed into my mouth. COOL!

Thank God for there is no NPCC training today. CAnclled because of NPDP & Sports Hits! Yahoo. Can rest for now.

Running back through Memory Lane`~

Yes. The middle one is Hwee Hwee. My Chinese dance buddy! I remember this dance where she & me with another girl were the main people in the starting of the dance.

Well, this was the last time I could remember meeting up with my classmates and being the 'organiser'. We were on our way home from Mdm Lim's house.

I somehow feel that I am drifting away from them. The meeting ups became lesser for me. I missed out on our last class outing too. However the faces of 4E1 still remains clear in my mind.

I've been working since 3rd Feb 2009 at my mother's boss office at Park Royal Hotel.
Learning many new skills as I started my first day on filing, salary summaries & IR8As.
Graduately, I learn more things like keying and coding invoices, receipts and now PAYMENT which is giving me a headache. However, once I get it in my head, it would definitely be a piece of cake.

Lately, I've been busy with NPCC. Now in the midst of Sec 1 NPCC camp planning with me being the Camp Coordinator and Huiying the Vice Camp Coordinator.

I started to polish my belt, one day I'll make sure it shines! xD

Cadet Leader Course is finally over.
Sec1 camp is coming up. waow.

I survived the Course with my right leg injured.
Having to withstand the pain as I continued to endure teaching the drill is a great success.
I knew I couldn't stand for too long as the muscle would not be able to relax.
The doctor said it is the cause of my muscle refusing to relax after vigourous running.
Such stubbon leg.!

Well, I went my home and got ready to church for worship practice.
During worship practice, my eyeslips were heavy, it's about to shut down any moment.
I survived the worship practice as well, learning a new song 'Trust His Heart'.

Well, well, well. Time to take a nap. I went to find a spot to get some real nap.
Ah-ha! The wooden table. I sat there and saw kor Joel there.
I asked to borrow his laptop bag as a pillow and fell into a deep dEEP sleep.
No one woke me up. When I woke up, it was 16:00. My one hour sleep felt like a 2 hours one.
Cool~ I made my way to the toilet and fell asleep there again.
I was so sleepy! I got up and headed for youth.

Today, we learned about Baptism and The Lord's Supper, with Aunty Molly teaching. Questions about why infants can't be baptised were answered. I will fill you in with more things that I have learnt in this lesson in another post - sometime!

After that, I wanted to go play bball, but my leg.. so no way. I chose to go eat lunch with Jie Cheryl, Ruiqi and Lijun. Partly also wanting to reach home before 21:30 to watch the Chen Mo Mo & Mars. I regretted buying Lychee ice blend + peach jelly. It was just too sweet.

Haha~ I was just telling Lijun that I have managed to smoothly changed the subject when kor Gareth asked why we did not wait for him. I started singing, "You did not wait for me, to draw near to you... .." And the subject was changed. Li hai ba!

Cadet Leader Course

When it started, I didn't know what to do? They splited the girls & guys, I don't know what to say. Then I started my first sentence... And so the checking of bags carried on.

I looked at Rudy as he did the lecture on Rules and Regulations. The serious, stern & firm expression. How am I going to do that?? My lecture was 1hr 30mins away, and I was really anxious.

I stood still during my turn, my leg was hurting, I endured.

Drills part one was fine. Sequence of Commands was rather messy & I figured out what to teach them on the spot. When it came to MOI, I taught them Hormat Ke Hadapan Hor-mat. It went smoothly.

For Standardization of drills, there were about 20 to teach. woah~ The many hours on drills sure was too much of mental strength..


Finally, during games, I got to sit down & rest my hardworking leg.
Sec 1 Camp Planning, I had to take over Hayudah's Admin side as she went to get supper with HO Andrew for the sec3s.
Getting them to brainstorm ideas was fun. The first group that came to me had sec3s who are rather interested in Admin. There's Soo Yuen, Wei Xian, Fang Yu, Edgar, Elizabeth, Minmin, Trevor (not interested), Shafiq (not interested), Alvin (not interested).

Well, Day 2 ended rather quickly. Little things to do though. =)

OHYA! I gave out the certificates to the sec3s for completing this course!

So honored! xD

SWELLING..

Oh crap. BIG FOOT.
My right leg is reacting from the past injury.
It's SWELLING..
Thank God it is not broken or what.
However I can feel some weird pressure inside my leg.

Please pray for speedy recovery.
And... I have not yet seen a doctor about it.

Anyway, I went to see the doctor today about my nose.
Ahh.. It's broken! No la~
Well, he said I have an allergy. To dust? To cockroaches? To what?
I don't know yet.
However air-con would worsen my condition.
I was given a referring letter to go to NUH to do some check about it.

2 ways to check:
1) Through stucking an equipment into my nose and sucking something from my nose, they'll go and test.
2) Through skin testing.

Pray that it won't be so expensive yea.

Amazing Race Xtreme '09

Group Se7en!

The OUtstanding Group that's first for every station in Day 1! Yahoo`~

Our first stop at Changi Airport Terminal 3:
We ran to the Candy Empire and spotted 2 gentlemen awaiting.
Counting the types of sweets there is in the shop was rather funny.
The lady looked at us and smiled =)

The 2nd group was following close to us.
We would have boarded te bus if we were faster.
Bus No.2 went pass right in fornt of our very eyes. O-O

Changi Village was our 1st food pitstop.
We had a plate of Nasi Lemak shared among ourselves.
We grabbed 6 pairs of untensils, 1 each person.
However, later, te stall Aunty asked us to put them back as we took too much. Oh well.

We had our lunch there and headed to our next station.

At the bustop, we saw the 2nd group that left before us just now.

They were still around, which means we've got a chance to be the first for the next station!

We went our way from Changi Village to the National Library.
There we got told of by a Security guard not to have our Amazing Race here.
There should not be any running in/out.

On our way into Chinese Garden, towards the Pagoda, I saw Pastor Ian were we followed him.
We had to study the 8 different heros and answer his questions to get the answer.

I studied Wen Tian Xiang, a national hero in Southern Sung Dynasty. (AD 1236 - 1283)

When his country and people are in great perail, he fought bravely against his enemy but was held captive. During his captivity, he wrote the Zhengqi Song and some poems to demonstrate his readiness to sacrifice for the country. He is known for his patrotism and bravery.

We later decided to capture a photo here to remember this beautiful scene.

Then we headed to Jurong Point were we got to get our next food item.

We got KWAY TEOW! Nice. Yummy. Great.

We had our dinner there which is another plate of kwayteow because it is nice. =)

There I saw Mdm Sandy Wong at Starbucks.

Then we had our last clue which doesn't make sense to us.

We had no idea what this was. But the answer was 'church'.

It was 6pm, and I had to leave for BSF.

When I reached Clementi, I thought I left my BSF stuff in Shalom. I quickly called Lijun & my Dad. Later, then I found ou it was in my bag. Huang le yi chang~

I definitely had fun this day. Full of laughters when Jessie(Jia Hui) and her friends joke.

And it poured and poured.. Thank God for the weather! It is cooling~ The groups are out starting on their photos hunting` GO GO GO!

There was an experience when my brother's group asked an uncle to take a photo with them with his bike, but e so interestingly diverted himself away, an off he went!

Ahh..! So tired!
Currently still have to deal with the enrolment forms.
SingPass.. PSEA.. Such a dreadful night.
At least I've completed my Online Pre-Enrolment. And thank God my parents were around if not the many blacks I would not be able to fill up. :)

Yesterday was a few hours ago. I almost fell a sleep in work during my data entries.
We went to the 3 stories hawker thinking of eating the Japanese food - Katsu Don!
Oh great.. -.- It's closed every Tuesday.

Now, I am feeling very hungry. It happens to me everytime time passes midnight.
Hope I could just drop on my bed and sleep.

Ama!

Today we celebrate Ama's birthday.
The house was crowded.
I like the warmth and the gathering.

Ama cooked her ever delicious fried prawn, covered in a crispy layer of flour. When dipped in chili, err-mmn... nice!
Can't wait to eat her specialty - pig stomach with egg and toufu. :p

Later, we had a game. Sing a song to get a prize!
I was in the toilet so I didn't sing. From the toilet, I heard
'Baa Baa Black Sheep... have you any wool..'
'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star...'
Then suddenly,
'Fly me to the moon, and let me play among the stars,
let me see what spring is like, on jupiter and mars...'
And I knew that was my brother.
I came out to hear him finish the song.
And they said it was my turn. Nah.. I didn't want to.

HAHAHA~

THE DAYS AWAITING.. ..

The past few days, I feel uncomfortable not having music by my ears.
I can't help to tune something on, on the way to work and back.
Or maybe singing out loud when my surrounding is cleared off, without people.
Talking about work, I have to sacrifice a lot of things when I am working.
Everyday only get to listen to Gold 90FM. -.-
Every morning have to think of what to wear for work. *sigh*

This week there's a lot of things to plan as well.
28 Feb'09 is my super packed day.
I'll be attending a friend's wedding in the morning,
having lunch with my youth straight after that,
heading to church to start of our Photo Scavenger Hunt Activity,
and having to lead it,
and so many things not done yet;

And 27Feb'09 would be the day I teach the sec2s knots!
Hope it'll be good and that I'll be able to teach them with patience. :D
Hmm.. It was fun getting them prepared for their promotion test.
I would say in the beginning of training, I was rather blur, because there were some changes and I weren't prepared. But my squad is great. I see a change in the way they carry themselves in the squad.
Well, I need to work on their responsiveness, sence of urgency, and most importantly, to get them to STOP FIGITING in the squad. Ohmy, I can't help to think of the times I have to repeat and tell them to stop figiting.
Hope their saluting imporved, my hard work can't be put to waste. :)

Friday, 20/02/2009, I saw the art room lights on. I wasn't able to go up as I have to go for a 'meeting'..

We (ms teng, huiying, andrew, rudy, hayudah and me) ate Burger King, joked, laughed and arrow people to do things.
I wonder what will happen to the cadets who don't wear/bring their proper uniform stuffs and pt kid the next training...
